Ella's New Wheels!

Rebekah and I have been planning on buying a jogging/walking stroller with all terrain wheels that Ella can sit up in. This is Graco's first true jogging stroller (just came out last month). It is made so that her car seat can latch into it. Through gift cards and gifts given for Ella, we were able to purchase it today!

8 months old!

Here's a couple pics from the last few days. Ella has been loving the warm sunny days & the porch swing!

She is 8 months old today!! Ella is a petite but strong girl! She's so happy & sweet. Such a content baby, but oh-so-dramatic!
Her favorite thing to do is snuggle mommy...and watch daddy! She's a complete momma's girl for now.

Ella has 2 teeth on the bottom. The others are taking their time. She continues to sleep ALL NIGHT LONG! (Mommy is very spoiled!) She eats some avocado but isn't quite sure about it! No crawling yet...why rush when you can roll anywhere you need to go?!! She's too curious to even sit up...Ella much prefers to get down on her belly & explore. Her favorite toy is her pink vanity, a Christmas gift from friends.

Our most exciting news lately is that Ella says "daddy" "Dada" & "hi daddy" !!! The most precious sound is her little voice in the mornings saying "da-da-da-da" over the monitor! She has started to wave a little bit & is figuring out that daddy comes & goes through the door. She looks for him to return from work & starts to wave when he leaves in the mornings. We love our girl so very much!!

I might start posting some food/recipe stuff on here...one of my passions! For now I thought I'd share a recipe I like for homemade TACO SEASONING - enjoy!! Happy cooking!!

If you want to make your own taco seasoning, this is a great recipe! Easy! Cheap! And no "extra" ingredients, if you know what I mean :) I think I added a little more cumin.
